An Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist role at AdventHealth is available at the De Victoria Medical Park clinic in DeLand, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Evaluate patients and establish a physical therapy diagnosis and individualized plan of care, referring out when treatment falls outside PT scope
- Design and implement treatment plans using evidence-based techniques, modalities, and insurance guidelines tailored to patient needs
- Assess functional mobility and evaluate muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems to monitor patient response and progress
- Modify treatment plans as clinically indicated and document evaluations, re-evaluations, and charges accurately and on time
- Supervise physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation aides in accordance with state regulations and practice standards
- Participate in community outreach, educational events, and physician referral marketing to support clinic growth
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license or Temporary PT license (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required)
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (preferred)
- Experience treating orthopedic patients (preferred)
- Ability to maintain accurate, timely documentation consistent with insurance and departmental standards

- Pay range: $65,623–$122,055 per year; minimum starting rate $35/hour
