Outpatient PRN Physical Therapist

AdventHealth Wellness Center in Ocala, Florida is hiring a PRN outpatient Physical Therapist to deliver evidence-based rehabilitative care across a day-shift schedule. ### What you'll do - Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations using current clinical standards and evidence-based techniques. - Establish, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans including goal setting, treatment activities, and visit frequency. - Document patient care accurately and completely in the EMR using measurable, objective terminology and maintain timely, accurate charge capture. - Provide patient and caregiver education throughout the episode of care, including discharge planning and home recommendations. - Oversee and supervise physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides in accordance with state regulations and practice standards. - Represent the practice through community events, educational lectures, and public health outreach as an extension of clinical expertise. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license or Temporary PT license (required). - Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred; education must meet state licensure eligibility requirements. - BLS/CPR certification (required). - Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), Microsoft Office, and standard clinical documentation workflows. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with patients, caregivers, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff. - Ability to manage productivity standards through effective time management and clinical efficiency. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.55 – $58.69 (approximately $65,624 – $122,075 annualized at 2,080 hours). - PRN scheduling with day-shift availability. ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
