About this role
AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Outpatient Neuro Physical Therapist on a system float basis, based primarily at Sports Medicine & Rehab East Orlando in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Determine physical therapy diagnoses and establish individualized plans of care, referring out when treatment falls outside PT scope of practice.
- Design and implement treatment plans using evidence-based techniques, modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient-specific goals.
- Assess functional mobility skills and evaluate muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems.
- Supervise physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides in accordance with regulatory and practice standards.
- Document and charge accurately and timely using measurable, objective terminology.
- Float to additional AdventHealth Sports Medicine & Rehab clinics including Innovation Tower, Lake Mary, Celebration, and Fish Memorial.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license or Temporary PT license (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required).
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (preferred).
- Previous clinical experience with neurological patient populations (preferred).
- Ability to travel across multiple outpatient clinic sites within the AdventHealth system.

- Pay range: $65,623–$122,055 per year ($35/hour minimum).
