About this role
A PRN Registered Nurse is needed for the Surgical Oncology Progressive Care Unit (day shift) at AdventHealth Celebration in Celebration, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle dimensions.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies to support compliance and recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate care and maintain clear, effective communication.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing — required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing — preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting — preferred.
### What's included
- Pay range: $31.53–$52.24 per hour (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annualized).
- PRN/per-diem scheduling on day shift, offering flexibility.
