Gynecologic Oncology APP – Denver, CO

An NP or PA is needed to join the Gynecologic Oncology team at AdventHealth Porter in Denver, CO, providing both inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic support across the full spectrum of gynecologic cancer care. ### What you'll do - Round on inpatients (25% of role) and support outpatient clinic visits including post-op, pre-chemo toxicity clearance, survivorship, genetics evaluation, and cancer surveillance (75% of role) - Triage patients on the floor, in the ED, or by phone and coordinate appropriate attending/on-call physician response - Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacological therapies per established protocols and provide symptom management for oncologic treatment and surgical side effects - Communicate radiographic, laboratory, and pathology results to patients in coordination with attending physicians and arrange follow-up care - Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, and recovery expectations; deliver formal staff education at least quarterly - Determine patient eligibility for clinical trials and assist physicians in developing and revising clinical practice guidelines ### What we're looking for - Master's degree in nursing (NP track from a nationally accredited program) or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program - Active NP or PA licensure in Colorado; board certification as an APRN in applicable population focus or NCCPA certification for PAs - Active RN license (for NPs), BLS, and ACLS certifications - Prescriptive authority (RXN or RXN-P) or active pursuit thereof - Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (new graduates not considered); gynecologic oncology or oncology experience preferred ### What's included - Base salary: $149,563 (2+ years experience) to $164,194 (3+ years experience) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan - Mental health resources, whole-person well-being support, and pet benefits ### About the practice AdventHealth Porter is a full-service acute care hospital located in Denver, Colorado, part of the AdventHealth system spanning more than nine states.
