About this role

An Environmental Services Technician (1st Shift, Part-Time) position is open at AdventHealth Hendersonville in Hendersonville, North Carolina. ### What you'll do - Clean and sanitize assigned patient rooms and public areas daily, including all surfaces, restrooms, and ancillary spaces - Collect, remove, and dispose of normal and biohazardous waste in accordance with facility standards - Stock paper products, cleaning solutions, and supplies in designated areas - Clean and disinfect areas containing bodily fluids per infection control and isolation protocols - Utilize the Bed Management system and handheld technology to support bed throughput - Collect and stage soiled linen for pick-up and document all work performed ### What we're looking for - Ability to follow oral and written assignments and apply full knowledge of basic environmental services duties - Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets, product labels, and perform basic arithmetic - Basic computer skills including use of standard office software, mouse, and keyboard - Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with patients - Housekeeping or custodial experience (preferred) - Healthcare environmental services experience (preferred); High School diploma or equivalent (preferred) ### What's included - Pay range: $14.55–$23.28/hour (~$30,264–$48,422 annualized) - Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability Insurance from Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) Retirement Plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources, whole-person well-being support, and pet benefits ### About the practice AdventHealth Hendersonville is a community hospital located at 100 Hospital Drive in Hendersonville, NC, part of the AdventHealth system.
