Housekeeping Nights

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is hiring a full-time Night Shift Housekeeping team member at its hospital campus in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. ### What you'll do - Clean assigned patient rooms and public areas daily, including trash removal and surface sanitization - Stock paper goods, cleaning solutions, and supplies in designated areas - Apply infection control and isolation procedures using proper cleaning equipment - Use the Bed Management system and handheld technology to support patient bed throughput - Operate cleaning carts and janitorial equipment; collect and stage soiled linen for pickup ### What we're looking for - Ability to maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe condition - Basic computer skills including mouse, keyboard, and standard office software - English communication skills - High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) - Prior housekeeping or custodial experience (preferred; not required — trainees welcome) ### What's included - Pay range $15.96–$25.54/hr ($33,197–$53,123 annualized); trainees start at $17.50/hr - $5,000 sign-on bonus - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is a full-service acute-care hospital located at 9100 W 74th St in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, part of the AdventHealth system.
