About this role
AdventHealth Castle Rock is hiring a full-time Inpatient Physical Therapist at its hospital in Castle Rock, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using evidence-based techniques and established standards of practice.
- Develop, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans including goal setting, treatment activities, and visit frequency.
- Document patient progress accurately and timely using measurable, objective terminology; charge patients accurately and legibly.
- Provide patient and caregiver education, including discharge planning recommendations, and discharge patients when maximum benefit is achieved.
- Oversee care delivered by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides per regulatory and practice standards.
- Maintain productivity standards through effective time management and participate in community education and clinical outreach events.
### What we're looking for
- Active Colorado Physical Therapist (PT) license or Temporary PT license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required.
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred; education must meet state licensing board requirements.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
- Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills with patients, staff, and clinical teams.
- New graduates are eligible; no minimum years of experience required.
