About this role

A part-time Outpatient Exercise Physiologist role at AdventHealth serving patients at the Rome, Georgia outpatient rehabilitation clinic. ### What you'll do - Perform and interpret physiological assessments, identifying high-risk individuals and designing or referring appropriate exercise prescriptions. - Plan and deliver individualized exercise therapy based on test data, patient status, and current medication regimens. - Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatment plans as clinical indicators evolve. - Communicate and document patient information accurately in the medical record. - Provide exercise education to patients, peers, and the broader community through public speaking and formal classes. - Maintain department equipment to ensure proper calibration and function. ### What we're looking for - Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field (required). - BLS/CPR certification (required). - At least 1 year of experience applying exercise concepts in a biological or medical setting (preferred). - Ability to participate in interdisciplinary committees and performance improvement activities. ### What's included - Pay range: $20.04–$37.27/hour (~$41,683–$77,522 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - 4 weeks of fully paid parental leave. - Career development and continuing education support. ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, nonprofit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
