About this role

AdventHealth Redmond is hiring a Senior Physical Therapist (Float) for its rehabilitation team in Rome, Georgia. ### What you'll do - Perform comprehensive PT evaluations and re-evaluations, establishing and adapting individualized treatment plans with clear goal-setting and treatment frequency. - Oversee care delivered by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation aides in accordance with state regulations and practice standards. - Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans, and coordinate referrals to other disciplines as clinical needs evolve. - Participate in discharge planning, including recommendations for adaptive equipment, home programs, and follow-up services. - Document evaluations, treatments, and patient education accurately and timely using objective terminology consistent with insurance and department standards. - Float across centers and programs, adjusting hours to meet variable patient census demands. ### What we're looking for - Active Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in Georgia (required). - Current BLS/CPR certification (required). - Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists (ABPTS) certification (required). - Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred. - Demonstrated ability to supervise PT assistants and rehab aides per established regulatory standards. - Strong communication skills across patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. ### What's included - Pay range: $33.17–$61.69/hour (~$68,994–$128,315 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Continuing education and career development support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Redmond is a faith-based acute care hospital serving the Rome, Georgia community with a mission centered on whole-person healing.
