About this role

An Occupational Therapist (PRN) is needed at AdventHealth Ocala in Ocala, Florida, providing inpatient rehabilitation services across a faith-based health system. ### What you'll do - Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations using evidence-based techniques and established standards. - Develop, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans including goals, interventions, and treatment frequency. - Document patient care accurately and on time using measurable, objective terminology in the electronic medical record. - Educate patients and caregivers, including discharge planning and community resource recommendations. - Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants and rehabilitation aides per state regulations and practice standards. - Support departmental quality initiatives and participate in community outreach events and educational programming. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida OT license or temporary OT license (required). - Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (preferred; must meet state licensure eligibility requirements). - Current BLS/CPR certification (required). - Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and Microsoft Office suite. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. - Ability to manage productivity standards through effective time and clinical workflow management. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.55–$58.69 per hour (~$65,624–$122,075 annualized). - Day-shift scheduling with PRN flexibility. - Access to AdventHealth's professional development and clinical education resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Ocala is a full-service acute care hospital located in Ocala, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based nonprofit health networks in the United States.
