About this role

AdventHealth Hendersonville seeks a Facilities Safety Coordinator to oversee environment-of-care compliance and safety operations at its 100 Hospital Dr campus in Hendersonville, North Carolina. ### What you'll do - Ensure all required inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on safety-related equipment and systems are completed on time and deficiencies are risk-assessed and corrected. - Manage the Environment of Care Committee, including safety tours, fire drills, disaster drills, and emergency preparedness exercises. - Serve as the hospital liaison with City, County, State, and Federal regulatory agencies. - Develop and deliver safety-related orientation, education, and training programs to hospital staff. - Conduct hazard vulnerability assessments, risk management analyses, and accident investigations. - Coordinate recommendations from outside consultants, vendors, surveyors, and inspectors related to safety and code compliance. ### What we're looking for - Minimum 2 years of experience working with CMS and AHJ (local, state, federal) regulations, preferred. - Ability to read and interpret drawings, construction documents, and regulatory codes and standards. - Valid Driver's License (required). - Associate degree preferred. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications. - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to work independently. ### What's included - Compensation range: $20.86–$38.79/hr ($43,389–$80,683 annualized). - Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Paid time off from Day One. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Mental health resources, whole-person well-being programs, and pet benefits. ### About the practice AdventHealth Hendersonville is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with a mission rooted in whole-person care.
