About this role

AdventHealth Redmond is hiring a full-time Inpatient Rehabilitation RN for night shifts (7p–7a) at its facility in Rome, Georgia. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments — including physical exams, patient history, and vital signs — across physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual dimensions. - Develop and implement individualized SMART care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary rehab team. - Administer medications (oral, IV, IM) and perform procedures including wound care, catheterization, and IV therapy. - Document all care activities accurately and in real time within the electronic medical record, including assessments, care plans, interventions, and patient responses. - Supervise nursing assistants in basic nursing functions, safe patient ambulation, transfers, and repositioning. - Participate in unit-based quality improvement, evidence-based practice initiatives, and bedside shift reports to ensure continuity of care. ### What we're looking for - Active RN license in the state of Georgia. - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Minimum 1 year of hospital or acute care nursing experience (preferred). - Proficiency with electronic medical records and computerized physician order entry. - Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. - Fluency in English (reading, verbal, and written). ### What's included - $15,000 sign-on bonus. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Redmond is a faith-based acute care hospital located in Rome, Georgia, operating as part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest not-for-profit Protestant health systems in the United States.
