About this role
AdventHealth Ocala is hiring a full-time Acute Occupational Therapist to provide inpatient rehabilitation services at their Ocala, Florida hospital campus.
### What you'll do
- Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations using evidence-based techniques and established standards of practice.
- Develop, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans including goal setting, therapeutic activities, and treatment frequency.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using measurable, objective terminology in the electronic medical record.
- Provide patient and caregiver education, including discharge planning recommendations.
- Oversee care delivered by certified occupational therapy assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides in accordance with regulatory and practice standards.
- Participate in community events and educational outreach as an extension of clinical expertise.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Occupational Therapist license (or Temporary OT license) required.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy preferred; education level must meet licensure eligibility requirements.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development, including serving as a clinical instructor.

- Pay range: $31.55–$58.69/hour ($65,624–$122,075 annualized).
