About this role

AdventHealth Ocala is hiring a PRN Acute Occupational Therapist for its inpatient rehabilitation team in Ocala, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations using evidence-based techniques and established standards. - Develop, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans including goal setting, therapeutic activities, and visit frequency. - Document all care accurately, completely, and on time using measurable, objective terminology in the EMR. - Provide patient and caregiver education, including discharge planning recommendations. - Oversee certified occupational therapy assistants and rehabilitation aides in accordance with applicable regulations and practice standards. - Support departmental quality initiatives and participate in community outreach events and educational lectures. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Occupational Therapist license (OT or OT Temporary) — required. - Current BLS/CPR certification — required. - Master's degree in Occupational Therapy — preferred; education must meet licensure eligibility standards. - Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office suite. - Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills with patients, staff, and clinical teams. - Ability to manage productivity standards through effective time management and clinical efficiency. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.55 – $58.69 (annualized equivalent approximately $65,624 – $122,075 based on 2,080 hours). - PRN/per-diem schedule with day shift availability. ### About the practice AdventHealth Ocala is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with facilities across multiple states.
