About this role

AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a full-time Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for its orthopedic therapy clinic at 305 Memorial Medical Pkwy, Daytona Beach, FL. ### What you'll do - Implement individualized treatment plans based on physical therapist evaluations, incorporating practice standards, insurance guidelines, and patient needs - Modify treatment plans as needed through ongoing patient assessment in consultation with the supervising physical therapist - Collect and communicate patient progress data to physical therapists, including discharge recommendations when maximum benefit is achieved - Document patient care accurately and timely using measurable, objective terminology consistent with insurance guidelines and department policies - Participate in community events, educational lectures, and outreach activities to support public awareness and consumer marketing - Practice employee and patient safety principles throughout all daily job activities ### What we're looking for - Associate's degree in Physical Therapy (required) - Active Florida Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or Temporary PTA license (required) - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required) - Ability to work Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM ### What's included - Pay range: $21.56–$40.09/hour (~$44,845–$83,387 annually); anticipated minimum $25/hour - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development and continuing education support - Mental health and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Daytona Beach is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system serving communities across the United States with a mission centered on whole-person care—body, mind, and spirit.
