About this role

An Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant position is available at AdventHealth Sports Medicine and Rehab in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Implement individualized treatment plans based on physical therapy evaluations, applying practice standards, recommended techniques, and insurance guidelines - Modify treatment plans based on ongoing patient assessments in consultation with the supervising physical therapist - Collect patient data and communicate discharge recommendations when maximum therapeutic benefit has been achieved - Document patient care accurately and timely using measurable, objective terminology in accordance with insurance guidelines and department policies - Charge patients accurately using CPT code format and insurance guidelines; oversee care provided by rehabilitation aides, students, and support personnel - Float to other clinic locations as required by department needs ### What we're looking for - Associate's degree in Physical Therapy (required) - Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or temporary PTA license (required) - Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required) - Ability to work a structured weekly schedule including Monday evenings and Friday daytimes with flexible mid-week shifts ### What's included - Pay range: $21.56–$40.09/hour ($44,845–$83,387 annualized) - Anticipated minimum starting rate: $25.00/hour - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development and continuing education support - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being programs ### About the practice AdventHealth Sports Medicine and Rehab operates outpatient rehabilitation clinics across the Orlando metro area, delivering musculoskeletal and sports injury care grounded in evidence-based practice.
