About this role
An Ortho Physical Therapist opportunity is available with AdventHealth at their outpatient clinic in Clermont, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Establish physical therapy diagnoses and develop individualized plans of care, including referral recommendations when needs fall outside PT scope.
- Design and implement treatment plans using evidence-based techniques, modalities, and insurance guidelines aligned with patient needs.
- Evaluate muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems to assess functional mobility and safety.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans in response to clinical findings, and document evaluations and charges accurately in accordance with department and insurance standards.
- Supervise physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation aides per established regulations and practice standards.
- Represent the practice through community events, educational lectures, and physician outreach to support referral development.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license or Temporary PT license (required).
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (preferred); education must meet licensing body requirements.
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Orthopaedic clinical background with ability to perform and document comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations.
- Willingness to travel as needed to West region clinic locations.

- Salary range: $65,623–$122,055 per year; minimum starting rate of $35/hour.

The Clermont location serves patients across the West region, providing musculoskeletal and orthopedic physical therapy in a scheduled outpatient environment. The team operates Tuesday through Saturday with defined shift hours.
