About this role
AdventHealth is seeking a Rehab Admission Clinical Liaison Therapist at AdventHealth Orlando in Orlando, Florida, with a weekend rotation at AdventHealth Winter Park.
### What you'll do
- Evaluate and assess patient candidacy for inpatient rehabilitation, issuing acceptance or denial decisions per established admission criteria.
- Recommend continuum-of-care alternatives for patients who do not meet inpatient rehab criteria.
- Facilitate patient movement through the rehabilitation program with proactive discharge planning and seamless care coordination.
- Build and maintain referral relationships through outreach to physicians and physician practices.
- Support community awareness via educational lectures, speaking engagements, and other clinical outreach activities.
- Maintain departmental productivity standards through effective time management and clinical efficiency.
### What we're looking for
- Active licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) — required.
- Associate degree or higher — required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical field — required.
- Experience in a rehabilitation setting — preferred.
- Availability for a Monday–Friday 8 am–5 pm schedule plus a full weekend rotation every 6–9 weeks.
