AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a part-time Acute Care Speech-Language Pathologist at its hospital campus in Daytona Beach, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations using evidence-based techniques and standards
- Establish, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans including goal setting, treatment activities, and frequency
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the EMR using measurable, objective terminology
- Oversee therapy aides in accordance with established regulations and practice standards
- Provide patient and caregiver education, documenting teaching appropriately
- Support community outreach through educational lectures and participation in community events
### What we're looking for
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
- Active Florida SLP license, provisional, or temporary SLP license (required)
- BLS/CPR certification (required)
- Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to communicate effectively in written, verbal, and electronic formats
- New graduates welcome; no minimum experience required
