About this role

AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a part-time Acute Care Speech-Language Pathologist at its hospital campus in Daytona Beach, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations using evidence-based techniques and standards - Establish, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans including goal setting, treatment activities, and frequency - Document patient care accurately and timely in the EMR using measurable, objective terminology - Oversee therapy aides in accordance with established regulations and practice standards - Provide patient and caregiver education, documenting teaching appropriately - Support community outreach through educational lectures and participation in community events ### What we're looking for - Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required) - Active Florida SLP license, provisional, or temporary SLP license (required) - BLS/CPR certification (required) - Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office suite - Ability to communicate effectively in written, verbal, and electronic formats - New graduates welcome; no minimum experience required ### What's included - Pay range: $31.55–$58.69/hr (~$65,624–$122,075 annualized) - Medical, dental, and vision insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Daytona Beach is a full-service acute care hospital located at 301 Memorial Medical Pkwy in Daytona Beach, FL, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health systems in the United States.
