About this role

AdventHealth Home Health and Hospice is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist to deliver home-based occupational therapy services across Gordon County, Georgia. ### What you'll do - Perform comprehensive initial evaluations and establish individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, caregivers, and physicians. - Conduct home safety evaluations related to activities of daily living and communicate findings to the care team. - Instruct patients and families in self-care, creative activities, and household management routines aimed at maximizing independence. - Continuously monitor patient response to therapy and modify the care plan as clinical needs evolve. - Supervise home health aide activities in the absence of other healthcare professionals. - Participate in team conferences, weekend coverage rotation, and on-call responsibilities as scheduled. ### What we're looking for - Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license — required. - 1+ year of clinical experience as an OT in an acute or rehabilitation setting — required. - BLS/CPR certification — required. - Master's degree in Occupational Therapy — preferred. - 1+ year of home health OT experience — preferred. - Valid driver's license and working knowledge of community resources and home care regulations. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $33.17 – $61.69 (annualized ~$68,994 – $128,315 at full-time equivalent hours). - PRN or part-time schedule with day-shift hours. - Orientation provided Monday–Friday for the first two weeks. ### About the practice AdventHealth Home Health and Hospice is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system serving communities across the United States.
