About this role

An Environmental Services Technician at AdventHealth Castle Rock performs daily cleaning, disinfection, and infection-control duties across patient and public areas of the Castle Rock, Colorado hospital campus. ### What you'll do - Clean and sanitize assigned patient rooms and public areas daily, including trash removal and surface disinfection - Apply infection control and isolation procedures using proper cleaning equipment - Document all work performed and restock paper goods, cleaning solutions, and supplies in assigned areas - Collect and stage soiled linen for pickup and maintain cleanliness in ancillary units, restrooms, and offices - Clean and disinfect areas containing bodily fluids in accordance with facility standards ### What we're looking for - Strong organizational, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills - Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions in English - Customer relations skills appropriate for a patient-care environment - High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) - 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting (preferred) - Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) credential (preferred) ### What's included - Pay range: $19.38–$31.01/hour ($40,310–$64,501 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Castle Rock is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network operating across multiple states.
