About this role
AdventHealth Castle Rock is hiring a full-time EVS Lead for day shift at its hospital in Castle Rock, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Lead and train front-line environmental services associates, addressing concerns and resolving performance issues
- Clean patient rooms, public areas, restrooms, offices, and ancillary spaces in assigned areas daily
- Collect, stage, and dispose of normal and biohazardous waste following infection control protocols
- Perform sweeping, dust mopping, damp mopping, high dusting, wall washing, scrubbing, and vacuuming
- Stock carts with paper products and cleaning solutions; replenish supplies in assigned areas
- Document completed work and validate associate accountability against established expectations
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of environmental services experience required
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak English
- Basic computer proficiency
- Working knowledge of infection control, isolation procedures, and cleaning equipment operation
