About this role
AdventHealth Castle Rock in Castle Rock, Colorado is hiring a part-time Environmental Services Technician to maintain safe, clean, and infection-controlled patient and public areas across the facility.
### What you'll do
- Clean and sanitize assigned patient and public areas daily, including collecting and removing trash
- Clean and disinfect areas containing bodily fluids in accordance with facility infection-control standards
- Dispose of normal and biohazardous waste following established safety protocols
- Stock paper items, cleaning solutions, and supplies in assigned areas as needed
- Collect and stage soiled linen for pickup
- Utilize the Bed Management system and handheld technology to support bed throughput and document work performed
### What we're looking for
- Organizational, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Basic computer skills including standard office software
- Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets and product labels
- 1+ year of experience in a medical office setting (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred); CNA certification a plus
