A PRN Physical Therapist Assistant position is open at AdventHealth's outpatient clinic located at Timberridge Medical Park in Ocala, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Implement individualized treatment plans derived from physical therapy evaluations, adjusting approaches based on ongoing patient assessments in consultation with the supervising physical therapist.
- Document patient care accurately and timely using measurable, objective terminology in accordance with insurance guidelines and department policies.
- Collect and communicate patient data to the physical therapist, including discharge recommendations when maximum benefit has been achieved.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of rehabilitation aides, students, and other support personnel in accordance with established regulations.
- Accurately charge patient services using CPT code format, price file, and insurance guidelines.
- Participate in community events and educational outreach as an extension of clinical expertise.
### What we're looking for
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy (required).
- Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license or temporary PTA license (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required).
- Ability to evaluate and interpret patient data relative to age-appropriate behavior, motor skills, and physiological norms.
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- No prior work experience formally required; new graduates are eligible.

- Pay range: $21.56–$40.09 per hour ($44,845–$83,387 annualized at 2,080 hours).
