AdventHealth Parker is hiring a full-time Environmental Services Technician at its hospital campus in Parker, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Clean and sanitize assigned patient and public areas daily, including collecting and removing trash
- Clean and disinfect areas containing bodily fluids in accordance with facility infection-control standards
- Dispose of normal and biohazardous waste following established safety protocols
- Stock paper items, cleaning solutions, and supplies in assigned areas
- Collect and stage soiled linen for pickup
- Use the Bed Management system and handheld technology to support efficient bed throughput
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare environment (preferred)
- Knowledge of environmental services equipment, cleaning practices, and chemicals (preferred)
- Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets, product labels, and reports
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English
- Basic computer skills including standard office software; CNA certification a plus
