Wound Care RN

AdventHealth Redmond is hiring a full-time Wound Care RN for its outpatient wound clinic in Rome, Georgia. ### What you'll do - Lead a clinic care team as case manager, delegating tasks and managing staff time within the assigned clinic - Perform detailed wound assessments and documentation for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with difficult or chronic wounds - Apply specialty dressings and demonstrate proper wound care procedures - Maintain infection control standards and guide non-RN associates on compliance - Educate patients on wound management and document care plans using departmental tools - Coordinate with home health nurses, insurance case managers, and referring physicians to ensure continuity of care ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia - Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree preferred - Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience - Current BLS/CPR certification - Wound care certification (CWON, CWS, or WCC) preferred - Strong communication and organizational skills for outpatient clinic management ### What's included - Pay range: $30.40–$49.93/hr (~$63,232–$103,854 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of fully paid parental leave - Pet benefits and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Redmond's outpatient wound clinic operates Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, offering a structured weekday schedule with no weekends.
