RN Wound Care

AdventHealth Riverview is hiring a full-time RN Wound Care specialist for its outpatient wound care clinic in Riverview, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform detailed wound assessments, apply specialty dressings, and document care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with difficult or chronic wounds - Lead the clinic care team as a case manager, delegating tasks and managing staff time to ensure efficient patient flow and minimize wait times - Maintain strict infection control standards and guide non-RN associates on proper technique - Plan, implement, and document patient and family education for chronic wound management - Coordinate with home health nurses, insurance case managers, and referring physicians to facilitate continuity of care - Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered quality management measures ### What we're looking for - Active Florida RN license and current BLS certification (required) - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred) - Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience - Demonstrated competency in sharp debridement skills within 3 months of hire - CWON, CWS, or WCC wound care certification (preferred) - Strong assessment, critical thinking, delegation, and electronic documentation skills ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annually) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - CME and career development resources; whole-person well-being and mental health support ### About the practice AdventHealth Riverview is part of AdventHealth, a large faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states.
