Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant

An Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) role at AdventHealth Sports Medicine and Rehab, located at 626 N Alafaya Trail, Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Implement individualized treatment plans derived from physical therapist evaluations, applying practice standards, recommended techniques, and insurance guidelines - Modify treatment plans as ongoing patient assessments warrant, in direct consultation with the supervising physical therapist - Collect and communicate patient data to physical therapists, including discharge recommendations when maximum benefit has been achieved - Document all patient care accurately and on time using measurable, objective terminology consistent with insurance and departmental standards - Charge patients accurately per CPT code format and insurance guidelines - Oversee rehabilitation aides, students, and support personnel in accordance with established regulations and practice standards ### What we're looking for - Associate's degree in Physical Therapy (required) - Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license or temporary PTA license in Florida (required) - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required) - Experience working with orthopedic and sports medicine patients ### What's included - Pay range: $21.56–$40.09/hour ($44,845–$83,387 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Sports Medicine and Rehab is an outpatient orthopedic and sports rehab clinic serving the Orlando, Florida community, with float coverage available across multiple clinic locations.
