A Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist at AdventHealth supports the credentialing and privileging operations for medical staff at AdventHealth Hendersonville in Hendersonville, North Carolina. ### What you'll do - Verify and maintain accurate licensure, certifications, and professional liability insurance documentation for all practitioners - Process applications for Medical Staff, Advanced Practice Providers, Clinical Assistants, Students, and Residents in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards - Maintain electronic databases and paper files for all applicants with current, accurate records - Provide administrative and technical support to medical staff committees and departments - Collect and analyze applicant information, pursuing additional documentation as needed - Triage and resolve physician and patient satisfaction concerns in a timely manner ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred - 1+ year of credentialing or medical staff–related experience preferred - Previous administrative support experience preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology - Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and database management - Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills ### What's included - Pay range: $18.96–$35.26/hr ($39,437–$73,341 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Hendersonville is a faith-based, community hospital located in Hendersonville, North Carolina, part of the AdventHealth system.
