About this role
AdventHealth Zephyrhills is hiring a full-time Kitchen Supervisor to lead food service operations at its hospital campus in Zephyrhills, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Manage daily kitchen operations including staffing levels, service station efficiency, and food production quality
- Monitor temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and sanitation compliance across all food service areas
- Train staff on inspection criteria, safe equipment handling, emergency procedures, and body mechanics
- Communicate operational updates, audit results, and performance feedback to team members and leadership
- Oversee employee scheduling, cross-training, onboarding, and performance development while controlling overtime
- Maintain inventory control, pricing margins, and ordering systems using computer-based tools
### What we're looking for
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a food service setting
- 2+ years of experience in food service, food preparation, catering, or merchandising — healthcare kitchen experience preferred
- Valid Food Handler Certificate (FHC)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Computer literacy for ordering, scheduling, and maintaining shared-drive documentation
- Ability to work weekends and/or evening shifts
