About this role

An Occupational Therapist is needed for an acute care inpatient role at AdventHealth Winter Park in Winter Park, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and established standards of practice. - Establish, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans including goal setting, treatment activities, and visit frequency. - Document patient care accurately and completely in the EMR using measurable, objective terminology. - Provide patient and caregiver education, including discharge planning recommendations. - Oversee care delivered by certified occupational therapy assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides per regulatory and practice standards. - Support departmental quality initiatives and participate in community outreach events and educational lectures. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida OT license or temporary OT license (required). - Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (preferred; licensure-eligible degree required). - Current BLS/CPR certification (required). - Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office suite. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. - New graduates welcome; no prior experience required. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.55–$58.69/hour ($65,624–$122,075 annualized). - $5,000 sign-on bonus and $1,500 relocation bonus. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one plus 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Winter Park is a full-service acute care hospital located at 200 N Lakemont Ave in Winter Park, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health systems in the United States.
