About this role

AdventHealth is hiring a Pharmacy Manager, Operations at its Orlando campus (601 E Rollins St, Orlando, FL) to lead day-to-day pharmacy operations within a large hospital system. ### What you'll do - Manage staffing, hiring, evaluations, scheduling, and coaching for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to meet productivity targets - Serve as Consultant of Record with the Florida Board of Pharmacy and ensure compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory requirements - Oversee medication distribution, inventory optimization, waste reduction, and compounding/dispensing activities - Act as liaison to campus leadership and medical staff to resolve medication-related issues and advance campus pharmacy strategies - Assist the Director of Pharmacy with budget preparation and manage cost-control programs for assigned financial resources - Serve as preceptor and educator for pharmacy residency and student experiential education programs ### What we're looking for - Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree — required - Active Florida Licensed Pharmacist (RPh) — required - 5+ years of pharmacy practice in a large hospital (500+ beds) within an integrated health system — preferred - PGY-1 residency or equivalent experience — preferred - Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) — preferred - Master's degree in pharmacy administration, health administration, or related field — preferred ### What's included - Salary range: $120,754 – $224,614 per year - Sign-on bonus: $2,500 (eligible candidates) - Relocation bonus: $1,500 (eligible candidates) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Paid Time Off from Day One ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating more than 50 hospital campuses across the United States, with a major hub in the greater Orlando market.
