About this role

A Virtual Practice Performance Consultant at AdventHealth supports physician practice transformation and EHR optimization across a multi-specialty medical group, based out of Altamonte Springs, Florida with 50% travel. ### What you'll do - Develop and implement customized performance improvement plans for individual physician practices - Evaluate EHR workflows, identify gaps, and design future-state processes using process mapping tools - Analyze performance data by region, medical group, specialty, practice, and provider to drive optimal outcomes - Collaborate with medical group leaders to optimize EHR use (athenaCollector / athenaClinicals) - Conduct improvement audits and report findings to leadership; monitor data and outcome measures for system adoption - Partner with reporting teams to ensure accurate, timely data collection and support evidence-based care model implementation ### What we're looking for - Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, IT, or a healthcare-related field (required) - 5+ years of experience in IT/EMR, training, or performance improvement/process optimization - Demonstrated proficiency in process improvement methodologies and project management - Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio - Familiarity with physician practice transformation in a multi-specialty setting - Preferred: Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, CPHQ, or Lean Bronze certification; knowledge of PQRS/MACRA quality reporting programs ### What's included - Salary range: $66,171–$123,073 per year - Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - Paid time off from Day One - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Professional certification support (CPHIMS, CMPE, Six Sigma, or equivalent required within one year) ### About the practice AdventHealth is a large faith-based, not-for-profit health system headquartered in Altamonte Springs, Florida, operating hospitals and physician practices across multiple states.
