Sr. Cook

A Senior Cook at AdventHealth Castle Rock prepares and serves meals for patients, café guests, and catering events at this hospital campus in Castle Rock, Colorado. ### What you'll do - Prepare and cook high-quality, visually appealing meals for patients, café service, and catering events following established recipes and production sheets - Create and update menus, recipes, and production records in collaboration with leadership to support dietary compliance and operational efficiency - Maintain clean, sanitary workspaces, equipment, and storage areas in accordance with HACCP guidelines, including accurate temperature logging - Oversee food production activities including proper portioning, batch cooking, and adherence to culinary standards for patient and retail services - Coordinate daily operations with the FANS Coordinator and team members to resolve issues and consistently meet service expectations ### What we're looking for - Minimum 3 years of healthcare or commercial cooking experience (required) - 3+ years in a hospital food service setting (preferred) - High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) - Certified Foodservice Professional (CFSP) credential (preferred) - Strong organizational, communication, and customer relations skills - Basic computer proficiency and ability to read, write, and speak English ### What's included - Pay range: $19.77–$31.64/hour (~$41,122–$65,811 annually) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Castle Rock is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, nonprofit health network committed to whole-person care.
