A Senior Cook at AdventHealth Castle Rock prepares and serves meals for patients, café guests, and catering events at this hospital campus in Castle Rock, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Prepare and cook high-quality, visually appealing meals for patients, café service, and catering events following established recipes and production sheets
- Create and update menus, recipes, and production records in collaboration with leadership to support dietary compliance and operational efficiency
- Maintain clean, sanitary workspaces, equipment, and storage areas in accordance with HACCP guidelines, including accurate temperature logging
- Oversee food production activities including proper portioning, batch cooking, and adherence to culinary standards for patient and retail services
- Coordinate daily operations with the FANS Coordinator and team members to resolve issues and consistently meet service expectations
### What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of healthcare or commercial cooking experience (required)
- 3+ years in a hospital food service setting (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Certified Foodservice Professional (CFSP) credential (preferred)
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer relations skills
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to read, write, and speak English
