About this role

A Regulatory Quality Improvement Coordinator RN – Hospice role at AdventHealth Home Health and Hospice Inc, supporting teams across Seminole, Orange, and Osceola Counties from a hybrid base in Altamonte Springs, FL. ### What you'll do - Coordinate all phases of record request processing, including ADRs, RAC requests, and Medicaid audits, ensuring submission deadlines are met. - Manage all levels of appeals processes for denied claims and maintain tracking database integrity in partnership with the Quality Service and Risk Coordinator. - Instruct medical, clinical, and administrative staff on record request audit and processing procedures. - Collect and analyze data for the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) process and identify performance improvement opportunities in clinical documentation. - Coordinate all communications with regulatory agencies and identify employee educational needs related to regulatory scrutiny. - Partner with the Education Department to develop and deliver training on regulatory compliance topics. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. - Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in hospice care. - Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Care, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). - Working knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation, Medicaid regulations, AHCA regulations, and NHPCO Standards of Practice. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and clinical software systems (e.g., HomeWorks). - Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) preferred; experience in performance improvement or quality assurance preferred. ### What's included - Salary range: $60,749 – $97,198 annually. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support, including mental health resources and pet benefits. ### About the practice AdventHealth Home Health and Hospice Inc is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system serving communities across the United States.
