About this role

AdventHealth Home Health and Hospice is hiring a full-time Regulatory Quality Improvement Coordinator RN to support multi-state hospice operations based out of Altamonte Springs, Florida, with travel across FL, IL, CO, GA, NC, and KS. ### What you'll do - Coordinate all phases of record request processing, including ADRs, RAC requests, and Medicaid audits, ensuring submission deadlines are met. - Manage all levels of appeals processes for denied claims and maintain tracking database integrity in collaboration with the Quality Service and Risk Coordinator. - Develop and implement procedures for record request management and instruct clinical and administrative staff on audit and processing workflows. - Collect and analyze data for the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) process and identify performance improvement opportunities in clinical documentation. - Coordinate communications with regulatory agencies and identify employee educational needs related to regulatory scrutiny. - Partner with the Education Department to develop and deliver education programs tied to regulatory compliance. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. - Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Care, or a related field required. - Minimum 5 years of nursing experience required; minimum 1 year of hospice experience required. - Knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation, Medicaid regulations, AHCA regulations, and NHPCO Standards of Practice. - Proficiency in clinical software systems (e.g., HomeWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite. - Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) preferred; hospice or home health care management experience preferred. ### What's included - Salary range: $60,749 – $97,198 annually. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Home Health and Hospice is a mission-driven organization extending faith-based care across multiple states, with hospice programs operating in Florida, Illinois, Colorado, Georgia, North Carolina, and Kansas.
