About this role
AdventHealth Home Health and Hospice is hiring a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to deliver home-based physical therapy services across the Altamonte Springs, Florida area.
### What you'll do
- Implement treatment plans established by a supervising Physical Therapist, applying recommended techniques in alignment with insurance guidelines and patient needs.
- Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate findings to the Physical Therapist for plan adjustments.
- Document interventions and patient progress accurately and timely using measurable, objective terminology consistent with standards of practice and department policies.
- Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on identified care needs to promote understanding and adherence.
- Maintain open communication with case managers, primary therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care and discharge planning.
- Participate in departmental meetings, education sessions, and performance improvement initiatives to sustain clinical competencies.
### What we're looking for
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (required).
- Active PTA licensure (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required).
- Valid driver's license (preferred).
- 1+ year of home health experience (preferred).
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office; ability to communicate effectively in English.

- Compensation: $23.71–$44.09/hour (~$49,316–$91,707 annualized).
