LPN Home Health

AdventHealth Home Health and Hospice is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide home-based patient care across assigned counties in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. ### What you'll do - Deliver direct patient care — including medication administration, wound dressing changes, and ostomy care — under the direction of a supervising RN - Assess patients during visits, document vital signs and medical information, and screen for signs of abuse or neglect using age-specific guidelines - Receive, verify, and implement physician orders, ensuring all LPN-taken orders are co-signed by an RN - Report pertinent clinical observations to the attending physician and RN, and communicate care plan changes to the home health team - Perform diagnostic testing including EKG, spirometry, audiometry, pulse oximetry, and forensic collections per established protocols - Participate in weekend on-call rotation and after-hours coverage as scheduled ### What we're looking for - Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Florida - Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification - Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing (Technical/Vocational School) - 1+ year of medical/surgical experience (preferred) - Venipuncture skills and ability to manage multiple patients under busy conditions - IV certification and valid driver's license (both preferred) ### What's included - Compensation: $20.23–$37.62/hr ($42,078–$78,250 annualized) - Sign-on bonus up to $2,000 (when applicable) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day 1 - Paid Time Off from Day 1 - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Home Health and Hospice serves patients across Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, and Highlands/Hardee counties, delivering skilled nursing care in the home setting.
