About this role
AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach is hiring a full-time Oncology Nurse Manager for day shifts at its 401 Palmetto St campus in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Provide direct oncology nursing care, including patient assessments, treatment administration, and follow-up coordination
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans to achieve optimal results
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies
- Conduct regular audits of nursing practices and lead quality improvement initiatives
- Oversee staff training, professional development, and resource management for the oncology unit
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida RN license and current BLS certification (required)
- Chemotherapy Certificate (required)
- Minimum 3 years of management or leadership experience in a healthcare setting (required)
- Demonstrated oncology nursing experience (required)
- Associate's degree in Nursing (required); BSN or MSN preferred
- OCN certification and ACLS preferred
