AdventHealth Ocala is hiring a Clinical Engineering Manager to oversee biomedical equipment operations at its hospital campus in Ocala, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Staff and schedule biomedical technicians to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
- Direct site operations using applied knowledge of clinical technology and medical equipment
- Coach and mentor technicians on performance standards and documentation practices
- Develop and implement service strategies with a focus on continuous process improvement
- Manage service contracts, demand labor, parts procurement, and shop supply inventory
- Perform basic financial analysis, including budgeting, cost tracking, and revenue calculations
### What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent technical/military training plus additional experience)
- 4+ years of biomedical, facilities, or related clinical engineering experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop technical staff
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driver's license (required); Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) preferred
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
