AdventHealth Orlando is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy Progressive Care Unit (PCU), day shift, in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and evidence-based standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to support compliance and recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize care across the transplant and cellular therapy unit.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications (required).
- At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to apply abstract reasoning to assess patients and revise care plans.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); basic computer proficiency in Windows-based programs.
