Food Service Representative

A Food Service Representative at AdventHealth Avista prepares and delivers patient, retail, and catering meals at the Louisville, Colorado hospital campus. ### What you'll do - Prepare patient, retail, and catering meals following culinary production records, including short-order and batch cooking to meet quality and temperature standards - Execute advance prep tasks by reviewing pull sheets and organizing ingredients for upcoming service periods and high-volume production - Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen environment and record equipment temperatures in compliance with health regulations - Manage inventory through sorting, labeling, dating, and rotating stock to support food safety and minimize waste - Collaborate with managers and team members to communicate operational needs and support efficient food service delivery ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) - 1+ year of food service, healthcare, or customer service experience (preferred) - Certified Foodservice Professional (CFSP) credential (preferred) - Strong organizational and verbal communication skills - Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively - Basic computer and keyboarding proficiency ### What's included - Pay range: $19.77–$31.64/hour (~$41,122–$65,811 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Avista is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system committed to whole-person care in body, mind, and spirit.
