About this role
AdventHealth Redmond is hiring a StaffFlex contract Physical Therapist for its hospital-based rehabilitation team in Rome, Georgia.
### What you'll do
- Conduct initial patient evaluations within department time standards for neuromuscular, orthopedic, and physically-related disorders.
- Apply diagnostic and prognostic testing for musculoskeletal, neurological, and neuromuscular conditions using standardized and special tests to track outcomes.
- Design and implement evidence-based, individualized treatment plans with measurable goals developed in collaboration with patients, families, and the broader care team.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions including mobility training, strengthening, modalities, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education.
- Coordinate discharge planning as part of an integrated rehabilitation process.
- Maintain accountability to departmental protocols and organizational core values.
### What we're looking for
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (required).
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) state licensure (required).
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy work experience (required).
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required).
- Entry-level professional competency in PT practices, theory, and application.
- Basic computer proficiency including Outlook and Microsoft Office (preferred).
