RN Infusion Center

AdventHealth Waterman is hiring a full-time RN for its Infusion Center in Tavares, Florida, providing outpatient infusion therapy to patients across diverse populations. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including observation, physical examination, and history gathering to identify physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs. - Administer medications and treatments safely, including IV therapy and infusion-specific procedures, and perform wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection. - Develop and implement individualized, SMART-goal-based care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, self-care practices, and discharge instructions tailored to individual needs. - Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic medical record, including assessments, interventions, and patient responses. - Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and apply evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes. ### What we're looking for - Active RN license in the state of Florida. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. - BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. - Minimum 1 year of prior hospital or acute care nursing experience preferred. - Proficiency with electronic medical records and computerized physician order entry. - Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within an interdisciplinary team. ### What's included - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective from day one. - Paid time off beginning on day one of employment. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support, including mental health resources. - Pet benefits program. ### About the practice AdventHealth Waterman is a faith-based, mission-driven health system located in Tavares, Florida, committed to caring for patients in body, mind, and spirit.
