About this role

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist for day-shift coverage at its hospital campus in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. ### What you'll do - Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations using evidence-based techniques and established standards. - Develop, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans including goal setting, treatment activities, and frequency adjustments. - Document patient care accurately, completely, and on time using measurable, objective terminology in the EMR. - Maintain clinical knowledge through professional development and serve as a clinical instructor for students or new staff. - Support patient and employee safety principles in all daily job activities. - Participate in community events and educational outreach to extend clinical expertise beyond the facility. ### What we're looking for - Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Kansas, or Physical Therapist – Temporary (PT-TEMP) license. - Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred; education must meet the standards required for licensure eligibility. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems. - Effective written, verbal, and electronic communication skills with patients, staff, physicians, and administrators. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.95–$59.42 per hour (approximately $66,456–$123,594 annualized at 2,080 hours). - PRN scheduling with day-shift availability. ### About the practice AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is a full-service hospital located at 9100 W 74th St in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, part of the AdventHealth national health system.
