Specialty Pharmacy Liaison

AdventHealth Orlando is hiring a full-time Specialty Pharmacy Liaison at its Orlando, Florida campus to support specialty pharmacy operations and patient medication management. ### What you'll do - Dispense medications accurately and verify prescriptions for completeness and accuracy - Monitor patient medication adherence and deliver targeted interventions as needed - Process third-party insurance claims, secondary billing, and prior authorizations including Part B and Part D Medicare - Utilize patient assistance and co-pay programs to reduce financial barriers for eligible patients - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in prescription-filling software - Participate in quality improvement initiatives to strengthen pharmacy service delivery ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) and Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credentials — both required - Associate's degree, or a high school diploma plus 5+ years of relevant pharmacy experience - Proficiency in prescription-filling software, third-party claims processing, and Medicare Part B/D billing - Knowledge of major prescription insurance carrier reimbursement guidelines and eligibility rules - Experience processing and filling prescriptions for specialty patient populations preferred - Prior experience with prior authorizations, patient assistance programs, and managed care organizations preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $20.38–$32.60/hour ($42,390–$67,808 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave - Whole-person well-being and mental health resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Orlando is a large faith-based health system serving Central Florida from its flagship campus at 601 E. Rollins Street in Orlando. The system integrates clinical pharmacy services across inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting complex specialty patient populations. This role operates Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m., with flexibility for occasional weekend coverage.
