A Food Service Specialist (PRN) position is available at AdventHealth Parker, a hospital-based food service operation in Parker, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Prepare patient, retail, and catering meals following culinary production records, including short-order and batch cooking to meet quality and temperature standards.
- Execute advance prep tasks by reviewing pull sheets and organizing ingredients for upcoming service periods and high-volume production needs.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen environment and record equipment temperatures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage inventory by sorting, labeling, dating, and rotating stock to support food safety and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with managers and team members to communicate needs and support efficient food service delivery.
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1+ year of previous food service, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred.
- ServSafe Certification preferred.
- Strong communication skills including the ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Basic computer skills and ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
### What's included
- Pay range: $19.77–$31.64 per hour ($41,122–$65,811 annualized equivalent).
- PRN/per-diem scheduling with day shifts.
