About this role

AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is hiring a full-time Dishwasher for its food and nutrition services team in Wesley Chapel, Florida. ### What you'll do - Clean and sanitize dishes, flatware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper techniques and chemical concentrations - Scrape and presoak items before running through the dish machine to ensure effective sanitization - Deliver patient trays and late trays accurately and on time, following identification and confidentiality protocols - Transport patient meal carts and bulk nourishment carts to and from nursing units, keeping all carts and equipment clean - Restock clean serviceware to designated locations using correct handling procedures - Monitor dishroom sanitation logs, chemical usage, and equipment performance to maintain compliance ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) - Food Safety Handler Certificate preferred or as required by Florida state law - Food Handler Certificate (FHC) preferred - Ability to follow safety and sanitation standards consistently - No prior work experience required — entry-level candidates welcome ### What's included - Pay range: $15.31–$24.49/hour ($31,845–$50,939 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Pet benefits and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, nonprofit health system operating across multiple states with a mission rooted in whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
