About this role

AdventHealth is seeking a part-time outpatient Physical Therapist with lymphedema expertise at its Sports Medicine and Rehab clinic in Lake Mary, Florida. ### What you'll do - Evaluate muscle, nerve, joint, and integumentary systems to assess patients' functional mobility and safety - Design and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques, insurance guidelines, and patient goals - Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans in response to clinical outcomes - Oversee care delivered by physical therapy assistants and therapy technicians per regulatory and practice standards - Provide discharge planning and guidance on adaptive equipment selection and follow-up services - Document patient care accurately and completely using measurable, objective terminology per department and insurance standards ### What we're looking for - Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Florida, or PT-Temporary license - Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred - Experience treating lymphedema patients preferred - Current BLS/CPR certification required - Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams - Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing clinical competency development ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.55–$58.69 (approx. $65,624–$122,075 annualized at full-time equivalent) - Medical, dental, and vision insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development and continuing education support ### About the practice AdventHealth Sports Medicine and Rehab in Lake Mary is an outpatient rehabilitation clinic located at 100 Waymont Court, serving patients across orthopedic, sports medicine, and specialty rehab needs. The clinic operates within AdventHealth, a faith-based, nonprofit health system with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit. The part-time schedule is 24 hours per week across four weekdays on a day shift.
